In the military, we use these key benchmarks to prioritise and plan when out in the wild. Survival is both a mental and physical test. Make sure you're up to par and keep this knowledge close to you:

3 minutes without oxygen.
3 hours in the elements.
3 days without water.
3 weeks without food.
