Challenge with purpose

Comfort teaches very little. The field exposes everything.

Commando Expeditions turns hard-earned military field experience into structured civilian adventures. These are not staged survival weekends or shouting-for-the-sake-of-it boot camps. Every challenge has a clear purpose: better decisions, stronger teamwork and real confidence outdoors.

Start with core survival skills in South West England, strip life back to three tools on Dartmoor, or step into sub-zero Arctic Sweden. Pick the level that matches your experience, then earn the result.

Three expeditions. Three different tests.

Each programme combines practical instruction, field scenarios and a controlled increase in pressure. Fitness and experience requirements are stated clearly before booking.

Progressive challengePressure is introduced with a training purpose, not for humiliation.
Real environmentsWeather, terrain and fatigue create the test. Artificial drama is unnecessary.

Straight answers

Frequently asked questions

Do I need military or survival experience?

No for the Commando Survival Foundation. Bare Instinct suits people with some outdoor confidence. White Storm is advanced and previous winter or cold-weather experience is strongly recommended.

Is this a military boot camp?

No. The expeditions use military experience, fieldcraft and decision-making principles, but they are structured civilian adventures. The objective is growth and competence, not shouting or humiliation.

What is included?

Inclusions vary by expedition and may cover specialist equipment, meals, permits and completion certificates. Read the full expedition page before paying, because international travel and personal kit requirements differ.

Can a private group or company book?

Yes. Private missions can be built around leadership, teamwork, resilience or practical survival skills. Use the enquiry link and include group size, preferred dates and intended outcome.
